As global customer program manager, it's your role to represent the customer towards the different NTS sites and create a win-win situation for all parties. Better, faster, cheaper. As tier one contract manufacturer for large global OEM's we have a serious responsibility in which the Global Customer Program Manager plays a key role. Your role is to exceed customer expectation by having a daily drive to optimize the portfolio of our customers and define programs to have the changes implemented. This means 'really' understanding the customer portfolio and its lifecycle, improve QLTC performance and initiate roadmaps & improvements over the different NTS sites globally. You develop and maintain a long-lasting, profitable relationship between NTS and our customers.
What are you going to do?
The Global Customer Program Manager works together with the customers, the Global Key Account Manager and the different Managing Directors of the different sites, to define a successful customer roadmap and related programs. You monitor the QLTC performance of all NTS operating companies and you are the escalation point towards the customer and Global Key Account Manager for critical problems. Issues are preferably solved before they occur, taking preventive or corrective actions to improve the performance of the win-win partnership between the customer and NTS.
You translate the account plan of commercial targets to operational plans for our sites to work with. The Global Customer Program Manager takes business case decisions (such as project and life cycle business models) after consultation with major stakeholders, like Steering Board, Global Account Manager and relevant operations directors.
What skills do you have
The Global Customer Program Manager combines a solid background in mechatronical development and productions with a strong personality. Starting with the hard skills, you have been working in the high-tech precision business for a minimum of 10 years, preferably with an OEM or first tier supplier. You've been working in project management, change management and business improvement for at least 5 years. The majority of you projects were in innovation and development.
As a person, you are the rare breed that combines strategic insight with result driven pragmatism. Customers satisfaction is your leading indicator for business results. You are a very strong communicator, both internally and externally. You listen, recapitulate and negotiate. The true project manager you are, you do what you say and say what you do. Over the years, you've become a leader with personal effectiveness to deal with complex issues and conflicts.
Finally, this position may require you to travel. NTS has sites in the Netherlands, Czech, Singapore, China and USA, and our customers are located all over the globe. As a final requirement, you speak English on professional level.
