The Business Development Manager develops the reputation of NTS as a first tier contract manufacturer in the Semicon, Analytical and Health markets towards (potential) customers in Central & Eastern Europe and the DACH region. By developing relevant business relations, attractive high potential business leads will be generated and transformed into development and manufacturing business.

What will you be doing

As Business Development Manager (BDM), you are the first point of contact in Central & Eastern Europe and DACH business for NTS Group. Customers/OEM's, key technology providers and possible other key players in the industry eco-system get to know you as the go-to person in our markets (Semicon, Analytical and Health). You have access to, develops and maintains a good working relation with all executive/senior technical DMUs at the customers and have a good understanding as to what their decision criteria are. After all, only when you understand your customer, you can truly help them.

The creation and fostering of leads is the main responsibility of the BDM in CEE and DACH regions. You hand over the leads to account management once there is a strong indication of an upcoming request for information / quotation. This includes providing essential business case input, strategic and tactical advice to develop the opportunity and support in negotiating a possible deal.

However, this position is more than just generating leads. Because you are the chief evangelist when it comes to NTS's business, you bring your knowledge to the market too. This means translating the value proposition into relevant local market communication. You organize and participate in conferences, trade shows and workshops. Also, the BDM builds up knowledge on the relevant technology trends and customer technical roadmaps and provides that knowledge as input to the NTS competence and technology (including building block) roadmap.

You report to the Chief Commercial Officer at our Headquarters in Eindhoven. However, your primary base is our office and site in Brno (CZ). This doesn't imply we ask you to be here every day. Customers want to see you and we want you to be at customers. Living in the CZ area is a plus.

What skill do you have

The ideal Business Development Manager has a technical background on academic level. Over the last 10 years, you've been active in a commercial/ technical role at a mechatronics OEM or supplier. Having experience in a commercial role is (of course) also a good match! Languages are a big part of being communicative. You speak (and write) English and German on professional level. Having good command of the Czech language is a big plus.
