NTS Development and Engineering: HQ Eindhoven Netherlands. The division is part of an international company that develops and manufactures advanced high-tech opto-mechatronic systems and modules of leading international High Tech machine builders (OEMs) in domains such as  (3D) printing, semiconductor, medical and analytical. With our state of the art design expertise and can-do mentality, we optimize every stage of product development, engineering, including turn-key and design-to-specification. Expanding our ambitious Sales Department, we are now looking for a driven Senior Account Manager. Your passion for developing strong customer relationships combined with your solid technical foundation have enabled you to establish a proven track record of securing High Tech projects by closing deals. 

Tasks and responsibilities

Your role:

  • As confident business sensitive networker, you develop relations at multiple accounts ( SME Machine builders, large accounts) on multi-level : (Group) management , Director level, Technical;
  • In close cooperation with your top class colleague System Architects, Project Managers, Group leads and Sales manager you determine a commercial proposal that meets the functional customer request in concept;
  • You drive both commercial business as well as technical requests, connecting and timing the right NTS employee at the right level customer;
  • Depending on your strengths, both new business development as well as expanding business at existing clients is part of your role;
  • You will regularly be attending (international) trade fairs and networking events;
  • You make sure you stay up-to-date on market trends and customer prospect base;
  • You report to the Sales Manager.
The profile

Your qualifications:

5+ years of relevant technical sales experience with proven track record;
Minimum Bachelor's Degree.  Can be Technical or Business with strong technical affinity;
You have experience in the Sales process of (Technical) Development activities;
Experience in the High tech industry is a Pre;
You know how to convey technical topics in an understandable fashion;
You have experience in understanding and negotiating (development) business agreements;
You have experience with different kind of business proposals and can be creative;
You feel confident within organisation sensitivity at Client site and know how to act;
Well-developed communication and social skills with a pragmatic can do attitude;
You handle your sales skills in a convincing but authentic way;
You are driven and energetic with an open mind;
Showing potential leader skills and sensitive to stakeholders interest;
Proficient in Dutch and English language.
